that nervousness is why my hairstyle hasn’t intentionally changed in 5 years

yeah, it’s nervewracking to change something that seems to take up a lot of your appearance (at least in my mind? maybe other people don’t think about hair as much of a necessary feature to their head i wouldn’t know lol)

but it is fun to be a little adventurous! the nice thing about hair is that it does eventually grow back, and it is possible to get back to your natural color eventually. it’s a matter of “am i willing to deal with for however long as necessary this if i don’t like it” hahaha

i usually end up deciding by looking at a bunch of different hairstyles in magazines and asking for friends/family opinions

i wanna do something really different with my hair

maybe like cutting it short or in a bit more of a unique style or dying it a really different color (or maybe colors!)

but at the same time it makes me nervous y’know?
