Teacher: What did you do this summer?
Me: um...
Me: Well I underwent intensive studies of Asian culture including arts such as music and film. I spent a lot of my time studying the intricacies of the differences between the Western and Asian entertainment systems and I've developed a new appreciation for Asian countries, for example South Korea. I also spent some time speaking to people online from different nations and we collaborated our ideas. It was really interesting finding people internationally who shared the same interests as me. I feel like I've bettered my understanding of the world around me and I have become more culturally aware.
